Piccalilli, Nottingham

Piccalilli is an original dining concept in Nottingham, offering British and European-inspired small plates made from fresh seasonal ingredients.

After a number of years working in pubs and restaurants such as the Larwood and Voce in West Bridgford and Iberico World Tapas in Nottingham, Chef Dan Coles decided it was time to start out on his own. And in autumn 2024, Piccalilli was born. His focus is producing dishes that are simple, high quality but also creatively interesting.

The menu changes with the seasons, showcasing dishes like roast cauliflower with Welsh rarebit, cold roast beef with gherkin ketchup, and parsnip cake with honey butterscotch. Dan brings a passion for fresh, honest food, drawing inspiration from local produce and traditional flavours.
