Italian restaurant Boboli in Kibworth Harcourt near Market Harborough is bright, modern and airy. It’s open seven days a week from 10am.

Boboli was launched by Lino and Sarah Poli in 2007 with the aim of creating a stylish pizzeria, based on Lino’s experiences of living in Italy and Sarah’s knowledge of the British (and south Leicestershire) market.

As well as homemade pizzas, this restaurant serves fresh seafood and local meats, seasonal vegetables and traditional Italian favorites. The wine list changes regularly, with options from lesser-known vineyards.

Here’s what Great Food Club’s reviewer thought of Boboli: “This was one of the best, if not the best spaghetti bolognaise we have eaten. The flavour was intense, the beef succulent and the pasta perfectly cooked. The staff were charming and professional and we found Boboli’s atmosphere laid-back but with a sense of occasion.”

From Monday to Saturday, Boboli serves its Prezzo Fisso menu, where you can order two courses for £13.50 or three courses for £16.50. The full menu is also available, along with a range of piadini (Italian-style sandwiches). On Sundays, the restaurant goes Anglo-Italian, combining Italian antipasto with English roast beef.

A Saturday lunchtime treat, what a lovely place, nice relaxed atmosphere, wonderful service and beautiful food, all at a reasonable price.

  2. Avatar LINDA says:

Shown to our table at 1-40, still there at 4-40, no pressure to leave, 6 different starters all getting 11 out of 10, main courses fell down slightly 8 out of 10, wine so good a second bottle ordered. Though the restaurant very busy the wait between courses not too long and having lots of news to catch up on we didn’t mind. All agreed we will be returning, lots of dishes we want to try.

  3. Avatar CHarlie says:

Good value and a great choice. Lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in

  4. Avatar Sheila Roser says:

A wide ranging authentically Italian menu with some super Specials is a rare find in a Leicestershire village. Try a light duck breast, orange and fennel salad followed by a delicious truffle and ricotta ravioli and just add one of the freshest side salads for healthy tasty eating.
    A gem.

We’ve eaten here a few times with kids and grandparents and it’s always accommodating.

Sunday roasts are good and pasta dishes are also excellent. Worth a visit and not too expensive.

  8. Avatar Andrew WILSON says:

Have been to Boboli a few times and always have a really great meal. We went with friends a while ago and had the best meal ever.
The four of us had different meals and did a bit of sharing!! Although the steak didn’t get shared much.
    Will certainly be back again.

  9. Avatar Philippa Maffioli says:

I find a visit to Boboli very relaxing and the menu imaginative. My best friend lives in the village and I often go with her. I would be described as someone who loves her food whereas my bestie would be considered a pickier eater, but we always both enjoy our meals at Boboli and we find the staff very accommodating.
