When Anna and Seth took over the Royal Oak Naseby in April 2022, they wanted to maintain a tradition of inclusivity, community and family values. Although the building itself has changed, there has been a Royal Oak on this site since 1861 and Anna and Seth are doing a fantastic job of continuing the legacy.
Seth is a fine chef and his locally-sourced menu blends traditional pub dishes with a broader range of influences. French onion soup, tandoori salmon skewer, chickpea & butternut squash korma all sit alongside classics such as fish and chips, pie of the day and hearty Sunday roasts. Burgers, fish & chips and kids’ meals are even available for collection.
Although food is clearly very important to them, Anna and Seth are also very conscious of the pub’s wet-led heritage. They work closely with the Society of Independent Brewers for their ale offering, as well as local merchants to ensure an excellent wine list. They also promote English wine from the Welland Valley Vineyard in Market Harborough.
Their aim is to provide a space for locals to “pause time and come together”. The Royal Oak is a great spot to do just that!
