June Plum Food in Wellingborough serves up authentic Jamaican cuisine – with a smile! The restaurant is family-run and the vibe is relaxed, making it exactly the type of place you’ll want to visit with friends.
Most of the dishes on the menu are made on site and include original recipes – curry powder, seasoning, jerk marinade and hummingbird sauce. When we visited, we enjoyed a gorgeous goat curry and perfect pumpkin pie.
All dishes are cooked to order and you can also order take out or delivery within 20 miles of Wellingborough (subject to charges).
Best of all, if you like what you’ve tried and want to try and replicate it at home, June Plum sells a range of sauces and seasonings so prepare to be inspired and have those taste buds well and truly shaken up!
