The Pasta Shop

The Pasta Shop is situated in the Fletton area of Peterborough, once the home of the London Brick Company, which in the Sixties provided work for around 3,000 Italians and still has a thriving Italian community today.

The Pasta Shop was founded in 1992 by the Borrillo family and today it is spearheaded by Genesio (Gino), ably assisted by Clara and her daughter Lucia. The family hails from southern Italy where they farm and still return home annually to source the finest ingredients from the native soil.

They offer not only an extensive delicatessen range, including fresh hams and salamis, cheeses and traditional antipasti, but also stock a complete range of pastas, wines and store-cupboard essentials, as well as specials cooked every day in their own kitchen. Their aim is to bring the authentic taste of Italy to Peterborough.

Why don’t you ask them if there is a particular dish that you are looking to prepare? The owners would be delighted to help you select the right ingredients and also suggest a wine to make your meal a real success!

The Pasta Shop is open Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm and has free parking outside.
